After living up until the age of 70, the Palawan Musician, Epic chanter, and Storyteller Masino Intaray passed away due to difficulties brought on by his illness. Intaray was said to have suffered from his diabetes, which was followed by several strokes that occurred, causing him to be confined in a hospital for ten (10) days during the month of November. On November 29, 2013, he was taken back to his hometown, kälang bänwa, as it is disclosed that there was little that could be done for his situation. Unfortunately, after a lengthy battle with his condition, Intaray died of diabetes in the early hours of November 30, 2013, and was buried on December 2, 2013. With his legacy, Masino Intaray leaves behind his remaining family members, his wife, four sons, and the whole community to mourn.
